Colleges, training programs and employers may need different or additional documentation to determine the existence of a disability and the need for accommodations to provide access. As your child explores different postsecondary options, it is important to find out if he will need different or additional documentation from the Disability Support Services Office at a college or training program or from the human resource department of an employer. The cost of additional testing or documentation most often is the responsibility of the student and his family.
