Service delivery models refer to the framework for the delivery of special education services. For example, services may be direct or indirect, and your child may have a team of different service providers. The overall framework and various options within can make up different service delivery models.

Service Delivery Models can include a paraeducator assigned to help a student with his or her movement challenges. As a parent or family member, you bring a unique perspective to IEP meetings about your child and his or her needs. Use this knowledge to inform the team about which services will be most helpful for your child.
