Assistant State Superintendent Marcella Franczkowski was honored to open the 25th anniversary Maryland Assistive Technology Network (MATN) Spring Institute on May 30th. Formed in 1994 through a partnership between the Maryland State Department of Education and Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Technology in Education, MATN connects educators, families, policy-makers, and leaders who are committed to using assistive and accessible technology to support learners with diverse needs.
