Our new DIY series, Making Sense, shows parents and teachers how to make and use different free or low-cost tools or activities for children with a variety of sensory integration needs. Join host Megan Lehman as she demonstrates how to make a light box in the first episode of Making Sense. This low-cost project is a great way to help children play with light and explore concepts like silhouettes and light diffusion. For children with light sensitivity, the soft, warm light from a light box can be more soothing than fluorescent lighting. Check back each week for new episodes and more activities!
