Teaching and Learning
Teaching and learning forms the foundation of educational programming which is integrated into general education instruction for students with disabilities. The specially designed instruction that is offered represents the unique instructional services and interventions that are required for a student with disabilities to access, participate and progress in the general education curriculum. The components of teaching and learning are the curriculum, instructional strategies and the formative and summative assessments that form a framework. Interconnected, these components support the delivery and accessibility of the curriculum and the monitoring of the student’s progress.
